The point being that it was done with council/Barclays money - something we are trying to do.

Built by Gravity who are on our list of potential contractors: http://www.gravityparks.co.uk/

It cost £120,000.

In my opinion, tho I know it's hard to judge a park from photos and clips on the web, Dartford got more bang for their buck than Burton did. Not having skated Dartford I can't speak from experience but it seems to make Burton look a little tame (sorry Burton . )

Although Dartford looks great, one of the guys on MAS (Jelly Head) said that the surface is degrading already (after 6 months?)

He said that its now too rough to kneeslide!!! Presumably it was ok initially?

Final crete finish was done by Duracrete.... we just need to be on guard as it were...

These parks can be spoilt by dodgy installation

Visit to Dartford anyone??????

So Gravity don't control the finish of their parks?

I suppose it must have been signed off originally.

Maybee the concrete techniques may need to be clarified, eg: mix, thickness, cage re-inforcement etc, as it seems just because it's concrete doesn't mean it will last.

Would love to go !!! ...........!!!ROAD TRIP !!!.....
